Bipasha Basu starrer opens to a lukewarm response

The film was expected to earn in the range of Rs 4.5-5 crore to have a decent opening. But the Karan Singh Grover-Bipasha Basu starrer collected in the range of Rs 3-3.50 crore on its first day. Definitely suffering a huge blow from Vikram’s I, the horror film also lacked a good word of mouth because of its shoddy treatment and bad plot.

While the other two releases of the week, Sharafat Gayi Tel Lene and Crazy Cukkad Family had a disastrous opening, Vikram’s I made a bombastic impact at the box office. With so many films releasing this week, Alone can only bank upon Bipasha and Karan’s scintillating chemistry to work magic for them in terms of box office numbers.
