Maoist captured in Bihar’s Jamui; reserve of arms, ammo recouped from Banjama woods
Jamui: A Maoist was captured and a reserve of arms and ammo recouped from the Banjama woods in this region, police said on Tuesday.
An AK-56 rifle, a gun, magazines of two guns, three detonators, two high hazardous projectiles, 108 rounds of ammo, other than some gelatin sticks were recuperated from a place in the timberland on recognizable proof of the ultra, he said.
Following up on a tip off, a joint group of CRPF and Special Task Force (STF) assaulted the timberland and got the Maoist the previous evening, Superintendent of Police Jayant Kant said.
