Officer among 3 troopers executed in aggressor assault on armed force camp in Kashmir’s Kupwara
Three troopers including an armed force chief were killed on Thursday when a gathering of aggressors raged an army in south Kashmir’s Kupwara, a guard official said.
The assailants, suspected to be fidayeen activists, sneaked into the camp before dawn at around 4. Sources said the gathering of four aggressors are accepted to have had traversed from Pakistan.
The Associated Press cited armed force representative colonel Rajesh Kalia as saying that the activists utilized firearms and explosives to target officers northwest of Srinagar.
The armed force cordoned off the whole territory including a close-by woods zone as collections of just two aggressors have been recovered up until now.
The assault is suspected to have been done by the Pakistan-based outfit Jaish-e-Mohammad. Notwithstanding, there was no autonomous affirmation of the episode and no revolt aggregate has issued any announcement up until now.
