PIA to quit flying on Karachi-Mumbai course from today – Here’s the reason
Lahore: Amid a strain in Indo-Pak ties taking after the decapitation of two Indian officers by the Pakistani military in Jammu and Kashmir, the Pakistan International Airlines will suspend its flights amongst Karachi and Mumbai from Monday.
The PIA worked two flights in seven days (Monday and Thursday) between the business capitals of Pakistan and India – Karachi and Mumbai.
Nonetheless, the PIA’s Lahore-Delhi flight operation will proceed as activity volume on this course is attractive, the PIA official told news organization PTI.
The suspension of Karachi-Mumbai course may add movement to Lahore-Delhi course, he said.
“There will be no PIA flight between Karachi to Mumbai and Mumbai to Karachi from April 8. The PIA has quit reserving for flights on this course,” the authority said.
The PIA administration has chosen to suspend the flight on the Karachi-Mumbai course on account of to a great degree low movement (on the course).
